How to register

Please note that this is the official SMILE Congress website for registrations and that no other websites, companies or agencies are authorised to sell the registrations in any way or to contact you directly.

Advance registrations are preferred to facilitate planning of the Congress’s scientific sessions and social events.

Online registration

Pre-registration will be accepted until 15 March 2027. After this date only on-site registrations will be possible.

Early bird and other deadline fees apply only if both registration and payment are completed by the respective registration deadlines.

Advance registrations are preferred to facilitate planning of the scientific sessions of the conference. On-site registration is strongly discouraged.

Individual Registration

Participants may proceed with the on-line reservation system.

Off-line registrations and requests of pro-forma/ invoices sent by fax or mail are subject to an additional € 30,00 for administration expenses.

Registration fees are in Euro (VAT 22% included).
Registration fees will be adjusted according to VAT charge alignment.

* The reduced fee will be applied only to members with regular membership payments.

** Application for the Fellows fee should be certified by a letter from the head of the department stating the applicant’s status at the time of registration, to be up-loaded (pdf and jpg format is required) during the registration process.

Registration is mandatory for participation in the scientific sessions and for oral or poster presenters.

Congress registration fee includes:

  • Access to all scientific sessions
  • Access to the exhibition area
  • Congress kit and name badge
  • Certificate of attendance
  • Coffee service as per program


TERMS OF PAYMENT AND INVOICE ISSUING

Payment by Credit card only:

The 3D Secure apply when paying via credit card through this web site. With this system, the customer confirms electronic payments with a password, a transaction number or a biometric recognition system. The system chosen depends on the bank; for example, many banks have set up a specific App or developed a code generator system.

Please check with your credit card issuer if your card is enabled for international charges in the Eurozone.

The following CREDIT CARDS are accepted: American Express, VISA, MasterCard.

Invoices:
Invoices with an address in the European Union should be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can only be set up during the registration process. Should you have any special requests for the processing of your invoice, kindly let us know when submitting your application.
– Any modification on VAT number or billing address, requested after the issuing of the invoice will incur a € 30,00 administration charge.
– Off-line requests of pro-forma invoices sent by fax or mail are subject to an additional € 30,00 for administration expenses.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

  • Any change or cancellation requests must be officially submitted in writing to OIC to registrationsmile@oic.it
  • For cancellations received by 20 February 2027 the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 30% that will be invoiced as penalty
  • No refund will be processed for cancellations received after 21 February 2027
  • Should a delegate not attend the conference, for whatever reasons, no further claims for reimbursement can be made. No refunds shall be offered, where a service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway.
  • An administrative fee of € 30 will be applicable for name changes. For the replacement of a delegate, written permission from the originally registered participant will be required, along with full contact details of the substitution.
  • All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.
